Training In The Best Climate In The World

Spread the love

Training hard requires sacrifice, focus and commitment, but there are some nice benefits when you are at the elite level.

The Italian national open water swimming team was able to train in Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, where other elite open water swimmers from Europe also often train. In addition to six hours of swimming (8:30 – 11:30 am and 6:00 – 9:00 pm), they also do dryland training in what has been called the best climate in the world.
