Phil Cutti continues to motor down the California coast in the 57 degree F water with 15-20 ocean swells undulating between him and the Night Train Swimmers’ escort boat, the Sequel.
Without fail, the Night Train Swimmers trade off swimming legs in one-hour segments, battling within eye shot of the rugged California coast.
On Day 3, the group remains strong and undaunted by anything the Pacific Ocean has thrown at them…so far. Cutti encountered the first shark on Day 2 when a curious 5-footer circled the escort boat. Cutti swam towards the shark and scared it away.
Swim, rinse, rest and repeat. Swim, rinse, rest and repeat. Swim, rinse, rest and repeat.
