Red Top Swimming extreme athlete Mitch Hutchcraft (@_mitchhutch) took 18 hours 19 minutes to cross the English Channel. The former Royal Marine commando was filmed by his friend, cameraman, and support crew member Stan.

His successful crossing on September 15th 2024 was Day One of his project Limitless where he would travel under his own propulsion from the shores of England to the summit of Mount Everest.  He swam across the English Channel and cycled and ran across the European and Asian continents already.  Now he is making final assault up Mount Everest to realize his childhood dream and pay tribute to his father.

If successful, he will join the Peak and Pond Challenge that includes people who have summited Mount Everest and swam across the English Channel.

Massive congratulations! I was in tears at the end of your swim! My daughter successfully swam the channel and I was reliving our experience as you were struggling . Good luck with your next stage in the challenge and the trot up Everest!👍👏It will be a doddle after that swim. Your Dad will be so very proud of you. 😘
