On her third attempt, more than 6 years after her first attempt, Suzie Dods successfully swam around Manhattan Island during the July 28th Manhattan Island Marathon Swim.
Her 8 hour 37 minute circumnavigation enabled the San Francisco-based open water swimming coach and volunteer extraordinaire to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.
