The Mighty Kaiwi Channel Proves Tough

After 17 long hours with the last 10 hours heading into an oncoming 2-3 mph current, Cae Tolman of Australia got into his escort boat as he was being pushed further and further away from Oahu.

It was an awesome attempt that he started last night at 5:06 pm, but sometimes the Kaiwi Channel wins,” reported Jeff Kozlovich.
