The awards will be presented to all the honorees at the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame Induction and Award Ceremony that will be held in Cancun, Mexico on May 18th 2024.
Steven Munatones said, “What an outstanding Class with individuals from 7 countries who are world champions, record holders, Olympic coaches, Oceans Seven marathoners, Triple Crowners, professional marathon swimmers, a disabled channel swimmer, administrators, pioneers, a kayaker, and officials. They are respected ambassadors of the sport, representing those who are either younger and older, either slower and faster, racers and soloists, those who stand on pool decks, feeding pontoons, and officials boats. They have all given so much to the sport – and will continue to give back through their actions, words, and ongoing legacies. Congratulations to all.”
