ven… I’m stunned and I must say very humbled, honoured and quite silenced.. (For once. )

This is probably the greatest compliment-I’m much better at promoting others -for me it’s about keeping my head straight always.. My prize has always been my own random round of applause at the end of the stairs the odd morning when I stop to think about what we all achieve..and are privileged to experience !

This last two years have been very difficult as my Dad is now full time care(living with me) and I balance that as well-I would love to be training for distance but time and energy are my enemies so I switched over to Ice and found my buzz there.. shorter time, deeper dig inside-still get my fighting done.. And the “team” requirement is right in our ethos of the “boy will bring us home”-we are such team swimmers..

Sometimes I get jealous that I don’t have the time or freedom to train and sometimes feel left behind. SO this is the greatest of compliments-THANK YOU… I’m stunned..

There is one sentence that I would like to add about my 1000m @ 0deg if you don’t mind-4 women worldwide that we are aware have done this.. It was my deepest dig inside in swimming/life-I went to the edge and found such strength -will come back to you soon..
