Even surrounded by a lush tropical rainforest in a beautiful protected marine sanctuary, the intensity of competition and the focused emotion among open water swimmers are evident.
During the 5 km race at the Cruce Aguas Abiertas Golfo Dulce along the Pacific Ocean coast of Costa Rica in Golfo Dulce,
athletes demonstrated that mano-a-mano intensity.
The distances are 1.5 km and 5 km races as well as a 14 km marathon swim where the chances of being Walkerized are high. For more information, contact Cruce Aguas Abiertas Golfo Dulce.
