Lisa Stansbie and Mihalis (Michael) Koumbouzis announced The Minoan Trail, a series of beautifully intriguing coastal and cave swims along the coast of Sfakia region in south Crete. “It has taken us [The Big Blue] two years of investigating and planning to offer a unique experience in Crete, Greece’s largest island.

The 6-day sea safari program starts on October 4th and finishes on October 10th. During the week, there will be an optional opportunity for a filmed swimming analysis and open water swimming coaching session.

Additionally, a yoga specialist will focus on breathing techniques and relaxation. Each day swimmers will swim a section of the Minoan Trail, approximately 4-5 km day swimming in the turquoise waters of the south Mediterranean and experiencing the local Cretan cuisine at a different specially sourced taverna each day.

We offer discounts for groups of 4 or more swimmers.”
