The Traversée internationale du lac Mégantic is an amateur open water swimming event in Québec, Canada. It also conducts the only point-to-point 10 km professional marathon swimming competition that is part of the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup circuit.

Organized by race director Kevin Laflamme, it is one of Canada’s Top Open Water Swims and one of the World’s Top 100 Open Water Swims for very good reasons.

Swimming Canada honored the organizers of the Traversée internationale du lac Mégantic with a President’s award which is awarded to athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, sports leaders and builders who have made a significant and profound impact on the development and capacity of swimming in Canada.
