Ashley Steeves of B&S Event Management and the Wild Fish 1 and 2 Mile Swim on August 22nd in Collins Cove in Salem Massachusetts said, “Every year, about 200 swimmers enjoy a great swim in a calm ocean water cove. Even in a hurricane, the water will be swimable. In 2004, we ran the event in between two hurricanes and it went great with over 40 swimmers who braved the weather in Salem Harbor.”

Sounds like the open water swimmers in Salem get a bit on the wild side.
