Lexie Kelly won the Nadadores 2.4-mile Rough Water Swim held in Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point along the Southern California coastline this Saturday morning in 48 minutes 38 seconds.

Carri Cook and Jen Schumacher finished second and third overall in the women’s division while The EC6 relay member Steve West was the overall champion in 44 minutes 28 seconds (shown on left).

What a great day to have an open water swim,” said race director Mark Moore of the Mission Viejo Nadadores Masters. “The weather, water, and the race course were perfect. Everyone seemed to have a great time while over 100 swimmers finished the event. The official results will be posted on the SPMS web site in a few days.”
