Swim Across America’s new event in Long Beach is a charity swim for the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.

The money raised from this swim will help defray research costs and support the work done at the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute. A new pavilion will provide the best care and latest treatment options for cancer patients.

The new pavilion will put all cancer services and supportive care programs under one roof, in a healing peaceful environment where the patient’s medical, emotional and spiritual needs are met.

Every patient, from 1 to stage 4 cancers, has access to targeted, customized therapy treatments specially designed for their unique needs. In addition, patients have access to many research protocols and a wide range of services to prevent or detect cancer at very early stages. Psychosocial support is woven throughout the plan of care to ensure total wellness.
