Before the 1.5K and 3K Acapulco Grand Prix at the Central American and Caribbean Aquatic Sports Convention (Convención Centroamericana Y Del Caribe De Las Especialidades Acuáticas) in Mexico, Laura Vidales announced the Brazadas Por La Vida project where, among other projects, Javier Gutierrez will attempt to break his 8 hour 16 minute time across the English Channel sometime next week.
As part of the Brazadas Por La Vida, people can donate money for each of his arm stroke, assumed to be 30,000 between England and France.
The Brazadas Por La Vida project goes from June 2010 to August 2011.
