Donald Miralle, Jr. won the sports action contest sponsored by the World Press Photo – again (see winning photo of 2005 on left).
A former competitive swimmer and all-around waterman, award-winning Donald is always considered on the cutting edge of the photo industry.
His winning awards this year were shot at the Hawaiian Ironman – his great open water photos are shown here.
