
Seven Stagers Continue Onto The Highlands

The 8 Bridges Hudson River Swim is the longest open water swim in the world, at 193 km of stage swimming in 7 stages along the Hudson River.
After swimming The Islands (29.4 km on Stage 1), The Lighthouses (31.8 m on Stage 2), 21.2 km on Stage 3, the swimmers just started The Highlands (24.4 km on Stage 4 before tackling The Beast (31.8 km on Stage 5) tomorrow and finishing up with 25.2 km on Stage 6 and 29.1 km on Stage 7.
Seven Stagers John Batchelder and Andrew Wells are still in the game on Stage 4 as they continue to completing all 193 km of the world’s longest open water swimming competition.
