From New Hampshire to Hawaii, swimmers are receiving the right of way in the open water.

While the state of New Hampshire issued legislation to give the right-of-way to open water swimmers in its lakes and the state of Hawaii designated separate lanes for swimmers and stand-up paddlers at its popular Ala Moana Beach.

From shore to shore, priorities are changing for the better and for safety.
