Russian Relay Navigates Neva

Back in 2019, Timur Falomkin from Siberia,  Roman Karkachev of St. PetersburgAndrey Zamyslov of Moscow, and Anton Kutuev of Murmansk completed a 25 km relay across the Gulf of Finland from Yelagin Island in St. Petersburg to Kotlin Island in Russia. The Russian foursome swam for 9 hours 52 minutes in the 7°C-9.6°C water.

On June 21st, the foursome added Ivan Kupriyanov and completed a 5-person 103 km relay down the Neva River into the Gulf of Finland in 22 hours 30 minutes in 17°C water.
