Kerry Kopke of the Cape Long Distance Swimming Association reported that Karen Graaff, Eva Dirksen, Katherine Persson and Georgina Smith completed the first all-female relay team across the False Bay from Miller’s Point, Simonstown to Rooi Els in 8 hours 46 minutes 12 seconds on March 13th with Big Bay Events escorting. “That is an impressive new record which will be very hard to beat. Congrats to the team for a solid day out of swimming.”
