Kellan Lutz is the star of an upcoming movie Immortals. Kellan plays Poseidon, god of the sea and brother of Zeus.
He was asked about being the god of the sea, “I love to swim. I’m a fish, I have a pool in my backyard so every morning I will go swimming, even when it’s colder.”
Sounds like a Poseidon Adventure.
It is great when celebrities profess a love of the water, especially when they challenge themselves to marathon swims or cold-water challenges (like in the Irish Sea Swim). Given Kellan’s tough dryland workouts in minimalistic conditions, we are sure that he can push himself pretty hard and far in the cold water too as he lives up to his movie name.
