Whether you are in Mexico or interested in a major international competition, Christian Palma is a photographer whose work you probably have already seen.
He took a number of outstanding photos at the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix event in Cancún, Mexico including this one of Andreas Waschburger taking some hydration during the 15 km race.
A graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Palma took his first photography course in 1999.
By 2002, he was invited to join the Sports Journal Record, shooting events throughout Latin America including the XIV and XV Pan American Games. In 2003, he started to receive international awards and cover events such as the South American Cup, the 2006 World Cup, and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
