Race Director Claudio Plit, Race President Marcelo Guiscardo and Organizing Committee President Patricia Querejeta announced the date of the 2012 President OC FINA 10 km Marathon Swimming World Cup in Patagones-Viedma. The 10K professional marathon swim will take place in the River Negro on February 4th 2012 in the cities of Carmen de Patagones and Viedma in Argentina with US$20,000 for grabs. With the water temperature a comfortable 22°C, the professional athletes will also compete in the 1.6K Negro River Sprint where another US$3,000 in prize money is available.
