Owen O’Keefe Receives Hall Of Fame Recognition

Ireland’s Owen O’Keefe received a Certificate of Merit from the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame while hundreds of open water swimmers from four continents looked on at the Cork City Hall in Ireland during the opening reception of the 2013 Global Open Water Swimming Conference.

From Australia to South Africa, America to Russia, and all around Ireland and Europe, O’Keefe was among many marathon swimmers who will be honored and celebrated this weekend.

He is pictured by Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming’s Dr. Sakura Adams who will speak on the Physiology of Cold Water Swimming on Day 2 of the Conference.
