Ukraine has several open water swimming stars who perform well on the global stage. The stars include Olga Beresnyeva who place 7th in the 2012 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim and Igor Chervynskiy who placed 14th in the 2012 Olympic 10K Marathon Swim.
The pair will be competing in the 2013 Ukraine Open Water Championships that is held this week in Berdyansk, Ukraine. The races continue through Saturday, June 29th and include the 5 km, 7.5 km, and 10 km.
