Night Swimming In The Canary Islands

Spread the love

Ryszard Majewski reported on his night swim with 13 swimmers who swam in the beautiful light of a full moon in Las Vistas beach, Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

Guided by kayaks, the swimmers were aided by glow sticks (see below) in the gorgeous waters of the Canary Islands.

The safety afforded by the glow sticks and kayaks – and swimming with partners – is essential for any open water swimmers anywhere anytime when attempting a swim at night.

These night swims are popping up all over the place and remind us of the annual Midnight Swim in Lake Cane in Orlando, Florida hosted by Lucky Meisenheimer.
