Nejib Belhedi Sticks It To The Open Water Youth

Spread the love

TUNISIA. Nejib Belhedi was nominated for the 2011 World Open Water Swimming Performance of the Year and is making a huge impact on the youth of Tunisia.

He and his support team made promotional trilingual stickers – in French, Arabic and English – that promote Nejib Belhedi as a WOWSA nominee in a message that encourages young people to swim in the ocean, in the very embodiment of the spirit of ouma.

The stickers promote Nejib Belhedi and ouma, a word used in Tunisia that means “swim in the sea“. With 1,400 kilometers of coastline, Tunisia offers plenty of open water swimming opportunities.

We are trying to encourage the people of Tunisia, especially the young and children to initiate and enjoy open water swimming in the sea,” says the English Channel swimmer who is making a significant impact on the next generation of open water swimmers in Tunisia.
