Olivier Ervyn, a Belgian who creates spectacular documentary photography in Africa, took some time off and instead captured great imagery at the 2013 Faros Maratón in Croatia.

Nacho Grignaschi, coach of Argentina’s professional marathon swimmer Noelia Petti, is photographed while carefully sizing up the course and conditions, taking in the direction of the wind, the current speed and differences, and straight-line tangents between various points along the course.
