Natalia Chuich, A Life Very Well Lived

Spread the love

Natalia Chuich, a widely respected marathon swimmer, marketing executive, and a Triple Crowner, passed away from cancer on May 10th at the age of 57.

The Strategic Planning Director for BBDO Russia was inspirational and kindly mentored many in the sport and in her work. She was a deep thinker and gained inspiration from the fields of psychology, biology, politics, fashion, and literature.

She loved marathon swimming and channel crossing from lakes in Arizona to the English Channel, from the Strait of Gibraltar to swims in South Africa, Israel, France, Italy, and Hawaii. She was a many-time member of the Half Century Club and served as a Marathon Swimming Mentor.

Her marathon swimming accomplishments are listed here on the Marathon Swimmers Federation Longswims DB.

When she attended the Triple Crown Dinner in Cork, Ireland hosted by IMSHOF chairperson Ned Denison, she was ecstatic. “I was so happy that I got there and was part of it. I love the open water swimming community with all shared emotions and inspirations.”

And the community loved her.
