Open water swimming organizer and visionary Doug Woodring is usually found along the shorelines of Hong Kong, California or Portugal, but his latest ventures have taken him to Paris.

“This is what we made today in Paris, as part of a new chapter, in both a brightness of unity in the city and a message to the world for renewable energy, finishing off our Listen Paris 2015 event,” explains University of California Berkeley graduate Woodring.

“Hundreds from around the world unite in a giant message of freedom, standing with the people of Paris and calling for 100% renewable energy, during the United Nations COP21 Climate Summit.”
