Mellow In Molokai

Spread the love

Sure the water is warm, but on most days, the Molokai Channel is completely unswimmable. So when the conditions align, swimmers just gotta go for it.

Darren Miller (shown on left) and Bruce Gordon are in Hawaii this week to make a go of it. As the indomitable Forrest Nelson says, “The weather is breaking in a swimmer’s favor. You won’t find too many days like the forecast that is approaching.”

Local marathon swimmer Mike Miller who lives on Oahu agrees 100%. “Now is the time. The conditions are never great, but this forecast is better than most. Get in, swim across, get out.”
