Melissa Cunningham of Australia was recently inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame as an Honour Swimmer and just received the prestigious Irving Davids-Captain Roger Wheeler Memorial Award.
She followed up her two world championships and world-class career as a commentator, administrator, official, lecturer, teacher and inspirational force. Cunningham won dual back-to-back 25 km World Championships in 1994 and 1996.
