Radio personality Marcus Connaughton, the voice and authority behind Seascapes (shown on left with Ned Denison), was the host for the morning sessions at the 2013 Global Open Water Swimming Conference.

Connaughton is the research arm and voice behind the maritime programme for Ireland, a one-man dynamo behind the microphone.
