The new tri-lingual website Marathon Swimming in Greece is now up and running. Events and contacts in Greek, Spanish and English are now available for a global market to descend upon Greece for some fantastic swims.
The swims include:
Toroneos Gulf Swim: 25 km from Kalithea, Kassandra to Nikiti, Sithonia in Halkidiki, held on the 3rd weekend of July.
Messiniakos Gulf Swim: 30 km from Methoni to the city of Kalamata, Messinia in Peloponnese. Held on the first weekend of September.
Maliakos Gulf Swim: 11.1 km from Kammena Vourla to Raches, in Fthiotida, Central Greece. Held in mid-July.
North Evoikos Swim: 14.5 km to Limni, Evoia. Organized on the last weekend of July.
Amvrakikos Gulf Swim: 11 km from Vonitsa to Koronisia, Arta, in Amvrakikos Gulf. Held on the 3rd weekend of July.
Plastiras Lake Swim: 4.5 km from Kalivia Pezoulas to Lambero beach, Plastiras Lake, Karditsa. Usually the last weekend of July.
