Spread the love

Becca Mann, the youngest Olympic Trials finalist (in various events) and a top
American open water swimmer, will head over to Honolulu this year.

Mann will try to stem the Aussie tide and win the perenially tough Waikiki
Roughwater Swim
.

But FINIS’ Luane Rowe of Australia is no going out without s fight. The four-time defending champion (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) has owned the stretch of beach on Oahu in dominant fashion. It should be a great race in 2012.

A local or American swimmer has not won the Waikiki Roughwater Swim since Emma Berry in 2007.
