The five relays aim to raise HK$2.5 million for Splash Foundation to provide free learn-to-swim programs for low-income families, children with special educational needs, and domestic workers. This initiative also aims to address the chronic swim illiteracy issue in Hong Kong, where nearly 50% of the population cannot swim.
