One day that is always interesting to swim in the Pacific Ocean is during the 2021 Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach, known as Surf City USA, in Southern California.
With hundreds of thousands of spectators on shore watching the specialty aviators, U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flying acrobatic maneuvers right over the water near the shoreline, ear plugs are definitely recommended for ocean swimmers this coming weekend.
The skies above Huntington Beach from Friday, October 1st to Sunday, October 3rd, will feature the U.S. Blue Angels, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, U.S. Air Force ACC F-35A Demo Team, U.S. Air Force Heritage Flight, U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey Demo Team, U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler Legacy Flight Team, U.S. Navy F-35C Demo Team, U.S. Navy Leap Frogs, U.S. Army Golden Knights, Jeff Boerboon (YAK 110), Lyon Air Museum, Greg Colyer, Red Bull Air Force, Rob Holland, Michael Goulian, Orbis Flying Eye Hospital, Michael Wiskus (Lucas Oil), FedEx, and O.C. Fire Authority.

If you swim offshore, you should wear a tow float and beware of boats with many pilots looking up at the airplanes, not scanning the horizon for ocean swimmers. There are hundreds or perhaps thousands of boats in the water well outside the surf zone. After swimming and watching the air show, swimmer can enjoy the Afterburner Music Festival held on the sands at one of Southern California’s best beaches. On Friday, October 1st, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, and on Saturday, October 2, Sam Hunt and X Ambassadors will perform and be featured.
