– Absolute top medal winner at the 2018 International Winter Swimming with 8 golds and 2 silvers in his age group
– Recently retired from a career as a Human Resources Executive at Alaska Airlines and using some of his newfound free time to explore winter swimming
– Has completed open water swims including English Channel, Manhattan Island, Catalina Channel, Kalamata Marathon, Strait of Magellan, Gibraltar and many others
– Chief Safety Officer for Northwest Open Water Swim Association
– Top fundraiser and organizer for Swim Across America
– Former USA National Team Member in pool swimming
– 109 USMS Top Ten Achievements, 13 USMS All-American Honors
– Exciting rivalry/comraderie with 2017 nominee and 2018 and 2017 IWSA World Cup male overall winner Igor Lukin, they challenge each other with respect, friendship, and fierce competition
