Delta Airlines is sponsoring the LA28 Volunteer Program.
Interested volunteers for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games can register to become part of the organization team. The LA28 Volunteer Program has two ways to get involved: volunteering in the community starting now and volunteering during the LA 28 Olympic Games between July 14th and 30th and the LA28 Paralympic Games between August 15th and 27th 2028.
Volunteers – unusually helpful and friendly people from all walks of life and every age – from the stands to the streets, from every neighborhood to every venue, are emblematic of the spirit of the Olympics. Through supporting the local community starting in 2025 to hosting the global community of athletes, coaches, and trainers in July and August 2028, this is a chance to be a part of something meaningful, memorable and impactful.

Community Volunteers
Community volunteer events kick off now. Registered volunteers are invited to participate via email as opportunities become available.
Games-time Volunteers
Games-time volunteering applications will open in the summer of 2026. You do not need to volunteer in the community to apply for Games-time roles, but early involvement is encouraged. You must be 18 years or older to register to volunteer, but no prior experience is required.
Olympic open water swim
The LA28 Olympic open water swimming events will take place on July 17th (women’s) and 18th (men’) at the Belmont Shore Long Beach Zone where Coastal Rowing and Sailing events will be held in addition to the 10 km open water swims on a flat rectangular warm-water course.
Belmont Shore in Long Beach [shown above] sits along the Pacific Ocean overlooking the waterfront that spans 11 miles of waterways connected to five miles of sandy beach.
