Jessika Robson and James Leitch Tuning Up at the IISA Great British Championships

The IISA Great British Championships was held at the Rother Valley Country Park in England on December 14th and 15th

Lupa tó on December 1st, offering races in the 50m, 100m, 250m, 500m and 1000m freestyle, 50m and 100m breaststroke, 50m and 100m butterfly, 50m backstroke, 100m and 200m individual medley, 4 x 50 mixed freestyle relay, and 4 x 25m relay fun swim.

In the build-up to the IISA 6th World Championship (@international_ice_swimming) that will be held in Molveno, Italy between January 13th – 19th 2025, referee Jonty Warneken, medical officer Ravi Jain, and a number of volunteers assisted IISA official and event director Leon Fryer.

49-year-old Scottish marathon swimmer James Leitch and 18-year-old Irish Jessika Robson (@jessika_r06, shown above) both won the 500m and 1000m freestyle in the 5.85°C water and 11.0°C air – and are both headed towards Molveno.
