Jean Craven, Deniz Kayadelen, Vanes-Mari du Toit, Neo Mokuene, Dr. Chiara Baars, Sean Disney, Thufayl Ali, and 15 sherpas climbed to 6,405 meters and set up their unprecedented swim camp in Phuta Himchuli in the Himalayas.
Earlier this morning they achieved their goal and accomplished the highest high-altitude dip in history. Previously, Australian Daniel Bull swam at 6,370 meters in the Andes in 2020.
Craven and team will provided photographs and explain their exploit later from a lower altitude.
