The Irish Long Distance Swimming Association and Swim Ireland announced the Irish National 10k Championship Swim along with the 15K and 5K Challenge Swims and a 1K Fun Swim at Lough Sheelin in Cavan on May 30th. County Cavan, known for its meandering rivers, streams and tree-lined lakes provide visitors with excellent opportunities for swimming, with its 365 lakes – one for each day of the year.

In Lough Sheelin, the “lake of the fairy pool”, we expect to see some magical swims on May 30th.
