If an ocean swimmer needs kayakers to help them navigate and be escorted, we cannot think of a more capable group of ocean-savvy watermen than Team Grom [shown above].

Jamie O’Brien, Kalani Chapman, Kaikea Elias, Scotty Clelland, Sean McInerney, Brad Domke and Brian Emory all rode a huge wave on the west side of Oahu in Makaha a few months ago.
