How Cold In Howth?

At Nicky’s Plaice in West Pier, Howth, Dublin, Ger Kennedy is helping swimmers prepare for their upcoming Ice Mile attempts with the Howth Ice Baths Series.

Known locally as Dr. Ice, Kennedy reported that the frozen water measured at -0.4°C where participants sat in the buckets of ice between 1-21 minutes.
