After Danie Marais pushed Chad Ho at last week’s aQuellé Midmar Mile, the fast South African pair are set to go head-to-head again in the inaugural Sanlam Cape Mile in Eikenhof Dam near Cape Town this Saturday.

Ho [shown above finishing at the Midmar Dam] wants to keep his winning streak going while Marais said the race was wide open, “Anything can happen on the day…obviously I want to win it.”

Ho added, “The more swims we have in South Africa, the better it is for the sport and exposing people to open water.”
