NYC Swim hosted one of its truly unique events – the 1.2K Liberty Island Swim, a complete circumnavigation around the Statue of Liberty in New York City.

Bruce Brockschmidt won the event in 14:26. Next year’s event will be held in the evening so the swimmers can swim with the sun setting around the Statue.
