9-year-old Gavin Lewis created a short video, We Need Fish, that won the annual One World One Ocean contest.
“The video was chosen on its quality, editing and content. This animated short was well-executed, extremely creative and conveyed the importance of seafood sustainability,” explained the judges.
The elementary school student and precocious ocean advocate started RescuingTheOcean.com when he was 6. He has been proclaimed a youth ambassador for Dawn Champions and has raised money for ocean non-profit organizations such as Surfrider.
