Pastor Kurt Dahlin has been establishing water wells in Africa for the past 3 decades, immediately and significantly improving the life expectancy of the local communities when they get access to clean water.

His brother, Mark Dahlin, an ocean swimmer, is now raising money to build more water wells in Africa via a Catalina Channel charity swim.

Dahlin and fellow swimmers Cary Sheehan, Ryan Vinall, Barry Nugent, and Bill Monroe will attempt a 32.3 km Catalina Channel relay to raise money for water wells in remote villages in Africa on September 14th.

They are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Water Wells for Africa. On September 12th at the Historic Beach House in Santa Monica, California, Dahlin and team will host a Fun Night of Fish Tacos and Margaritas on the Beach. The US$100 per plate fundraiser will direct all proceeds to Water Wells for Africa and is hosted by the Verge Family.

Interested friends and donors can confirm their attendance to Mark Dahlin at mdahlin@epic.edu.
