Ben Campbell-MacDonald, a Policy Analyst with the National Health Committee of New Zealand, completed an unprecedented 81K 18.5-hour solo wetsuit swim across Lake Wakatipu in New Zealand from Kingston on the lake’s southern point to Glenorchy on its northern tip.
Lake Wakatipu is in the South Island, is New Zealand’s longest lake and is renowned for its scenic beauty, being surrounded by mountains.
