Four Days Of Fun And Competition In Hawaii

With the postponement of the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships 10 km marathon swim to Maui on August 31st (see related article here), it will be an incredible 4 days in the Hawaiian islands at the end of August for ocean swimmers and fans.

On August 30th, the Maui Channel Swim, the largest ocean relay swimming competition in the world, will kickoff the oceanic activities. The 9.6-mile 6-person relay will be held across the Auau Channel from the island of Lanai to Maui.

Then the next day, the Junior Pan Pacific Swimming Championships and the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships will be held on Ulua Beach, steps away from the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort and Spa on Maui.

Next up is the Aumakua Swim and Sprint Mile with its unforgettable Arch underwater obstacle.

And finally ending the quadruple ocean swimming series is the annual Waikiki Roughwater Swim on Labor Day.
