The Great Fjord Swim takes place in the deep clear 14/15°C waters of Ireland’s only fjord, Killary fjord, on October 13th.

Killary Harbour is a 16km-long fjord sandwiched between mountains to the south and north located in the West of Ireland in the heart of Connemara which forms a natural border between counties Galway and Mayo.

Swimmers of all abilities can choose between the 750m and 2km courses with the added bonus of €2000 in prize money.
